Estimated Rates
My normal rate is $50 per hour. Estimates of the time required
for typical projects are given in the following table. The final
number is negotiable, and depends on factors like the quality of
existing documentation and the availability of subject matter experts.

Light editing looks at grammar, spelling, and formatting. Substantive editing includes checking for informational accuracy and looking at organization. |

Articles etc.
A typical article is about 2000 words and may include diagrams. This pace can be prorated down to about 500 words; pieces shorter than that usually take proportionately more time. |
